Our Transcription Process

Basic Transcription Process

  1. Project information communicated, preferably with at least one week advance notice. (See price quote form)
    • Session recorded and delivered to DDI
    • Digital audio emailed or uploaded to FTP site
    • Paper documents faxed, scanned and emailed, or mailed.
  2. Source material processed
    • Analog tapes dubbed to digital
    • Logged
    • Assigned to transcriptionist
  3. Transcription completed
    • Delivered to DDI for proofreading (see Hourly Guidelines)
  4. Transcript delivered
    • Sent via email, uploaded to FTP site, or hard copy mailed
  5. Invoice generated and delivered
  6. Source materials returned
