Saves time. Transcription can begin as soon as recording is completed and delivered resulting in much faster turnaround. No waiting for delivery of tapes. Saves money. No mail/overnight delivery fees. Improves quality. Digitally recorded media contains the best audio/video quality thereby improving the quality of your transcript and reducing costs. Inaudible verbiage cannot be included in a transcript, and it takes a significantly more time to transcribe poor quality audio than clear recordings. |
Large files can sometimes be difficult to work with. FTP client software helps significantly ease uploading these files to server sites. Learning curve for file transfer and working with a digital voice recorder. Basically this is the same as working any other mass USB device, and specific recorder instructions can be provided. |
